Since year 2000 NIPA has its own journal for accountants.
In July 2000 NIPA was among the constitutors of "Uchet" magazine. In July-October 2000 was issued the 3 issue of this magazine with the circulation of 3000 copies.
In September 2000 the Presidents Board of NIPA decided to issue NIPA's own monthly journal - The Messenger of Professional Accountant. The initiative on creation of the new journal for professional accountants was supported by the Administration of Samara Region. The Chairman of the Editorial Board became the Vice Governor of Samara Region - Victor A. Aronin.
The concept of the journal: it is the informative, scientific and practical issue for the members of NIPA. The majority of its copies is provided free of charge to the members of the Institute.
In year 2000 the journal was registered as a periodic regional issue, since July 2003 the journal was reregistered as the all-Russia mass media and was included to the all-Russia RosPrint catalogue of periodical printed issues.
700 copies of the first issue of the journal were published in October 2000.
At the present time (starting from June 2004) the circulation of the Messenger is 2500 copies. 12 issues and one additional supplement are published during the year. From October 2000 till September 2002 the journal was delivered to members by the registered training centers for accountants.
At the present time the free subscription for the magazine is conducted by NIPA and the journal is delivered to the members by post.
Since August 2003 the journal is published with the brief overview in English. We expect to launch the full English version in the future.
In 2003 The Messenger of Professional Accountant was included to the prestigious catalogue - Finances and Investments in Russia.
At the present time Dmitry A. Yakovenko is a co-chairman of the Editorial Board. The members of the Editorial Board from Samara region include: Mrs. G. Gogina, Mr. B. Leontyev, Mrs. E. Nikiforova, Mrs. O. Pukkina, Mr. V. Ryabov.
Mr. Valery V. Khomutov is the editor of the Messenger.
